Lack of a bridge and the insulting narrative overlay of it "not being your carrier", are two reasons I wouldn't buy it even if I had the will to grind the necessary credits.
It is your carrier, whatever the lore-excuse for the limitations says. You paid for it. You pay the staff. You organise or mine its fuel. You decide what services it offers and who can dock. You decide where it goes. You decide if it gets decommissioned. You own it.
So,
Carriers should have a bridge that can be customised superficially.
Carrier communications to the owner should specifically acknowledge their status.
The carrier owner should never be shot at by the carrier under any circumstances.
The carrier should be able to engage yaw, roll, and pitch for positioning without leaving its designated point. If you have a bridge, then you should be able to choose the view.
Some time post-EDO release, the fleet carrier should have at least a social gathering area inside in addition to the bridge, if not have a completely explorable interior, including the captain's cabin of course.
Most of this is for RP, which I think is vital in ED.
