How are people playing right now?

¯\_(シ)_/¯ Seriously friend, Frontier or Sony has nothing to do with this. How much time are you planning to spend on a few short training missions ? Can't be more than 2 hours. And funny thing is no one knows when servers are going online.

May not seem like a big deal. But my complaint is that why is there a restriction in place on us with the digital copy, and not those who have the actual disc? Playing the training missions won't screw up the servers or cause any problems. Technically, all Frontier had to do was unlock the game to download and get to the home screen on the 25th (today) and then we'd ALL be doing the damn training right now.

The actual button to even join a server is locked on the game itself until the servers open. So again, no risk of people doing anything that would effect something on launch day.

That's it. Simple. I know it's stupid to you guys. That's been made abundantly clear. But it's just a stupid oversight on Frontier's part. Letting SOME people do the training today and restricting others even they have the same exact game, and paid the same exact amount for it, seems... Unfair. If you will.

There is suppose to be a restriction on the disk also, meaning one is not supposed to obtain it until the 27th. Some folks including me befriend the minimum wage employee and offer up a little something to assist them in their rent for instance. Should the game store get caught the employee would get fired and because there is a breach of contract by the store and Sony, sued.

On the other hand, a preordered digital comes with a fancy gold paint job, a few decals as an incentive to preorder. Get used to it, in a couple or three years, there will be no more disk. Some pc models don't have a disk drive already. It just a matter of time before none of them do.

Basically the gamers you hear of or see playing are doing so on illegally sold copies. And even then it's only the turorials, their not actually playing the game.

Ok who is the Fair Police around here, the call has went out many times already!!

It's not Fair I ordered the Disc and still do not have mine. It's not Fair that I do not get the Gold Sidewinder with the disc version or all the paint packs that come with digital for Pre Ordering. It's not It not fair digital copies do not get the 1000 Frontier Points I do, on Disc. It's not fair digital gets Avatars in America. It's not fair some one wants Elite but will have to wait because they do not have the money to buy it.

What is Fair is that we do get to play it on the 27th of June as promised *cough*(maybe). It'ss Fair we all had a choice the buy digital or Disc version of our Choice I am personally am happy I get to play it in a couple days now. No QQ no finger pointing no worries about gankers or who else is playing when I can not. Just doing the countdown I expected when I bought it.

Its not that big a deal ,but it would have been nice to try out the training mission using my new thrustmaster tflight 4 hotas setup. I wanted to get comfortable using the stick.
It does seem a little unfair ,but not that big a deal.

I got mine a week before everyone else. How you ask, well I relize that FDev uses a normal calendar, so I reset my ps4's calendar back one week. So on the 27th, my ps4 will show that it's the week before. Thus I will have had it a week prior to y'all.

I got my Thrustmaster TFlight HOTAS 4 for Christmas 2016 it still sealed in the box till the 27th!

I doubt ED will be fair. But not because of players who have their discs already, more because this game is out almost 2 years and there will be many 'pro's' out there that played on xbox or pc. Imo to get fairness we have to play solo... I hope I'm not right!
