How can I uninstall Elite Dangerous 32 Bit Client from the launcher?

Now that Horizons is out, I'll never see myself ever needing to launch the 32 Bit Elite Dangerous client from the launcher.

How do I go about uninstalling that so only Elite Dangerous Horizons is installed?

(without uninstalling everything and reinstalling)

Navigate to your install location and delete all folders except the new Horizons install. Got rid of three myself just now.

That seems a bit risky having to manually delete files....Not saying it won't work, just would prefer a nice user friendly option in the launcher.

Namely FORC-FDEV-D-1010, which should be your standard Elite Dangerous install.
Elite Dangerous Horizons should be named FORC-FDEV-DH-somenumber

I don't have a "FORC-FDEV-DH-somenumber"

I do have a "elite-dangerous-64" folder though.

You can uninstall from the launcher: select the game from the game list you want to delete, then go to 'Options' (top right) and click 'Uninstall Game'.

It will uninstall the game you have selected in the launcher. Just did this for Elite Dangerous 32bit, I don't think just throwing away the folder is enough (Windows Registry stuff).

I`ll think i`ll keep 32+64 bit installed , encase the thargoids come along and play havoc with the install

Then at least i can play E

using either version.

If you uninstall ED 64 bit the Horizons 64bit goes puff!

Highlight the one you want to uninstall

Go to options at the top of launcher

Choose uninstall..

Quick question..I am installing Horizons now, do I also need to install the 64bit Version of ED ?? (its there on my launcher, so I am not sure).

My experience, no. I just installed horizon 64 bit.

Is there a way to remove the 32 bit install link from the launcher list? I'm guessing there won't be but had to ask

I'm doing the same thing Thetele did after uninstalling the 32 & 64 bit I've now selected ED 64 bit so hopefully I'll then be able to press play and have it start up.
Everybody must be doing this now my download speed has dropped to .09/mbs with download completion taking 18 hours.
