How can I uninstall Elite Dangerous 32 Bit Client from the launcher?

That uninstalls the game from disk but does not remove/hide it in the launcher - which is what I think the OP wanted (I'd like it too).

I would of thought that the list is populated by your account, so when you run the launcher it receives the information from the server not by what is installed on your computer.

Yes, that is what I meant nrage but as Fennster has pointed out I too think it's linked to the account, annoying, but I guess we'll just have to put up with it.

For some reason, nothing happens when I select an installed version of the game and click "Options". I ended up having to manually delete the 32-bit version. Also, if you installed 64-bit Horizons, the normal 64-bit version of the game shows as installed as well.

Just be careful with this! I uninstalled the 32-bit and the 64-bit Elite Dangerous (aka 1.5) expecting to just leave Horizons installed, but Horizons disappeared too! Beware!

Why in the world is this left for the guess work of the fanbase? How about it Frontier? What can go and what can stay - keeping future development work in mind.

Doh!
But it won't be the 32bit un-install that did it, it'll be the 64 bit version. I noticed the reverse, when I installed ED H, the 64bit of ED was 'just there', I guess it's the same game engine.

i just want the 32bit uninstalled with out deleteing the 64bit version and with out deleting my files such as my keybindings i worked hard on

Yea ok, then just do what Wizz15 said to do in post 7.
.
As long as you highlight the 32bit client 1st that'll be the only 1 un-installed, as I said in post 9, did you read the thread? ;)
Oh, re key bindings, I still had mine in the 64bit client :).

Why so much concern about deleting it? Storage is dirt cheap these days even my Laptop has 2TB? And as for my desktop more or least infinite these days practicality wise?

I'm leaving mine; always good to have a reserve option if one borks for some reason.

The only thing I would consider is wiping everything and re-installing it all if the folders start getting bloated from poor post install cleanup. (After backing up the app data files for my config.

Because I, (& probably many others) have a SSD for my system drive, my SSD is 128 GB, so as you can see it has limited space, I do also have a 1TB & a 3TB HDD, but I want Elite on my SSD so I can have the fastest loading time. I currently have 21 GB space spare on my SSD.

I was curious about this as well. I clicked on the 32bit client, but under options, it hasn't got an uninstall or remove option. I see the following

That is weird. On my system now, Steam gives me a list of 3 options (Elite Dangerous, Elite Dangerous Horizons, VR mode) and the launcher no longer shows anything next to the play button.

sorry to Necro, but I done fudged up.

selected 32bit and uninstalled
Selected the 1.8 beta and unstailled.
Selected the arena thing and BAM uninstalled horizons, the 64bit version and the 2.3 beta.
On a 5mbps shared connection, this'll take days to reinstall.

FFFFFUUUUUUU!

Really hope I saved a copy of my keybinds and what not >.<
