Side note 1: Pancho Barnes was quite a character (and early aviatrix) herself. I have a draft copy of her book somewhere. If I remember correctly it's called The Happy Bottom Riding Club :)

Side note 2: The Right Stuff was the first DVD I ever bought. I remember showing it to friends sat around a garden table and us all being amazed that such a thing (watching a film, in the garden, on a portable computing device) was even possible :)

The thing that scares me about Marra is that:
1) She knows her limitations.
2) She gets off on revenge.

When FDev implement something like a long knife in your back.
Like maybe the ability to steal your anaconda.
Don't expect to see her - she's the queen of silent running.
Just don't be surprised when you're scratching your head asking "What just happened?"

It is an awesome image from Hubble and it does look a little bit like a dragon curled around a gem. Found it in the game too after some digging and help from MB :)

At the time, I was bounty hunting in my Vulture a lot. I found a picture that seemed characteristic of a Vulture in attack mode. But then, vultures don't really attack. They wait until something is dead. For a good bounty hunter, a vulture avatar is appropriate because a ship with a bounty is "dead man walking".

I've had 4 avatar images, the first was a really cool picture of a bird, the second a pic found for me by Ben Ryder himself around when PP was released, and I showed my devotion to the Simguru ("Some Utopian Futuristic Kung Fu for You!"). He promised to add a few psychedelic colours to it. I'm still waiting. The third was the same as the second but with an Odd Red Hat (because of the, well, Odd Red Hat Club), the latest one comes from a post in the odd thread (I'll put up the link later).

This one is a homage to another forum picture and name from another game forum. Brings back memories. :)

Anway i only meant to be temporary, and swich it when i see something or have a better idea.
