How do I build things?

I was having lots of fun building things, but now when I try to build a path, queue, or a coaster, I can't build it. I believe my control is to left click it, but it will not place. Any help?

Do you have enough money/is the location obstructed in anyway - what error if any do you get when trying to place?

I don't get any errors, I just can't place anything (not putting any attitude towards you legit I can't place/build anything). I tried to exit to main menu and join back, but same thing. It's such a great game, but I would like to build as well.

Is there a certain setting I need to look at?

Seems odd. You should fill out a bug report here and maybe post a few screenshots.
