How do i disable shadows and Smoke/Fog completely?

As Odyssey still has massive Problems even on high spec machines and all the recent updates barely did anything to help, id like to ask if there are some big brainers out there who could help me.

Since Odyssey we cannot disable shadows completely anymore like we could in horizons but shadows is one of the most power hungry options in most games. Is there a way in the Graphicsconfig to disable them completely or having them only in the cockpit?

Secondly: i saw a report in the issue tracker where smog/fog was disabled via a third party software and the gain were about 40 massive FPS. How do i disable that without installing third party software?
