Newcomer / Intro How do I find planets discovered by me?

So last week I was the first to discover three planets in a system barely even outside the bubble. At the time I never thought much about it and assumed (wrongly it turns out) that there were plenty systems with unclaimed planets. After exploring all the way to the witch head nebula it turns out I was ridiculously lucky to find these when I did. And I can't remember where the hell they were! Is there somewhere I can check to see a list of planets I've discovered first?
In the filter you can set up (star types, services etc) try setting it to "Planets I've visited" or something similar. I was the first to map a few planets and got a pop-up back at home station saying so. Thing is I couldn't remember where and still can't. I'll keep looking though and I hope this info (although very late now) can help a future commander.

Waiting for @Para Handy 's skellies to appear :D

this is a long shot and may be a ⚽ache but unless youve wiped your system since you discovered this system, every system youve visited is recorded in log files on your machine. these logs can be found in C:\Users\[your logon]\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous <assuming your using win10>

however you will likely find there are 100's of these little SO🐝 and they tend to hold a lot of info. if you happen to recall when you discovered the planet you may be able to narrow it down a little.. these files capture a lot but im only guessing they capture first discovered, scanned etc and\or if your first to hand in the discovery.. if it captures at least discovered, scanned etc you can go check the map in game to see if your name is there

iirc there are a few log analisers arround which may help, this one is for exploration.. sorry found that, on google :p
or you may find something more useful here

If you think you are answering the OP then you will need to shout - they have not been seen on the forum since October 2016.

Maybe I should have done as Tyres suggested and unleashed the skeletons then maybe people would notice quite how smelly this necro is.

Nah, it's so old that it doesn't even smell anymore.
What's really sad, though, is that the OP's problem is STILL a problem today. And I'm STILL taking screenshots of interesting places - like some caveman - because there's no convenient in-game way to keep track of your stuff.

Without third party tools, OP could filter galaxy map to show only systems he/she has visited, then manually hover over each body in system map to look at tags. It’d be a hellish slog though

This thread has been given a jolt from my electrodes and the monster from the slab has begun to rise!

Actuallly, they could have made this a feature™ of Odyssey. But... nah...

Back when the OP posted, there wasn't any such thing as a "visited stars filter", and the third party tols were quite primitive too. All you had were a pen-and-paper, or screenshots, or (eventually) a teeny tiny number of bookmarks.
