How do I launch the Codex?

I've got into the Codex following the default Triangle + L1 prompt, when I've mapped a planet, but that doesn't seem to work any other time. I know I can get to it from the right-hand menu, but that's a bit cumbersome. Is there another way to launch the Codex from a bottom mapping?

I have the same problems, the bind never works. Just go into right panel and its on the main screen next to squadrons etc.

Are you clicking the bind in the right order?

I have noticed for the first time since 3.3 that bind order is important.
It took me ages to work out why I was struggling to toggle between combat and analysis mode until I finally clocked that triangle + L3 was being handled differently to L3 + triangle.

how I find this system...

The discover binding only works when something is BRAND NEW... the correct title should be "latest discovery in codex page open please option"
It is not an jump to codex any time button config...

The function is only active when new items are added and highlighted.. this seams to be added so that you can avoid having to dig through the brand new sections in the mass of menus in the codex...
Which is a good thing as its a bit messy... and instead jumps direct to the actual item and not the codex main page...
As this means you have to stop what your doing and look at it right that second its no use to me...

The new bind never works for me. It did the very first day then since all the crashing I tried new binds every new discovery. Gave up in the end and just use the right panel instead.

I can confirm that. That’s how it is - and it’s good thinking actually. Makes life easier.

I know, still doesn't work for me, even when it pops up in the top right after a new discovery. I tried changing mine before each new discovery to get it working. It wouldn't. So guess some of us get even more bugs than others.
