How do you go into Glide mode ?

Could someone please explain to me how to go into glide mode ?

Ive gone in at the right angel and now at super cruise as i call it, but every time i drop 1 degree below the horizon it drops me out of super cruise saying im dropping too close, im at 251km and no idea now how to get into glide ? im not going too fast as i cant go any slower

Its crazy cause ive done it before no probs, but this times its got me stumped

No idea why they decided to make it so complicated, specially when it so buggy like this

You probably need to do a hard boot and restart and it should work fine. It is not reorganizing that you have Horizons. It is a known bug and has happened to me but I just restarted and it worked fine. There are quite a few bugs that need to be worked out but well worth it to me.

To glide you need to be pointing further into the planet's drop out point than the Horizon.

I tend to circle the planet until I'm within 250KM of the P.O.I that I'm trying to reach then point directly at it with the ship. Usually by the time the drop out happens I'm within 65KM and it glides me in to around 6-7KM of the P.O.I that I'm trying to reach.

Either this, or you are trying to land on a planet/moon that isn't landable, and no I have not accidentally done that, no sir, not at all.... oh look a canyon, got to go sorry.

Yes, this worked for me, thanks for the help

The problem was the distance, it kept telling me at 250km i was too close, when i logged out, hard reset, then logged back in it was suddenly 38km, so guess its a bug
