How do you prepare for Launch Day?

Next few days very busy with work, implementing new accounting software.
If all goes well, all should be ready next tuesday. Finally gives me some free time again from that moment.

So I'm busy till Tuesday, so won't be thinking about release that much the coming days.

Omg, we should be friends, you're awesome :D :D :D Made my (ty) day.

I prepare since weeks now, planning my sandbox, replanning, watching YouTube Planet Zoo Videos (I'm out of stuff...), working my butt of to take off from work after release for the rest of the week... Trying not to be too nervous and excited, but without any success. Searching for names for my animals. Praying to the gaming gods that I will learn to build fast and soon and good and so on.... Gosh, days are endless at the moment.

So ill probably have issues sleeping before the launch day due to the sheer and utter struggle to contain my excitement, but i will focus on sleep since I fully intend to no life the game and will need as much energy I can muster to do so correctly. XD
Going to double up on coffee, and snacks and water, got to remember to stay hydrated, it is one of the most important things when doing silly stuff like bingeing lol
My diet will probably consist primarily of various types of wraps for the better part of the week, since they are simple and clean to make but filling and can be pretty healthy if made correctly. XD (I love wraps, I even put spaghetti in a wrap sometimes). You can make wraps out of anything. It's great.
I feel like a small child again, the same kind of excitement one might have felt the up coming days leading to Christmas, that like jittery cant sleep cuz wanting to open gifts and what not on Christmas day. haha. Such a strange and nostalgic feeling. :D

We got our long-awaited Beagle puppy last Monday, so I've got a real-life ferocious pooping machine to worry about these days.

Tuesday will be here soon enough for me, probably won't really get to it a little while longer. But I don't mind, our pup's a cutie and they don't stay like this for long :D

haha, now thats a good training for Planet Zoo. please keep us updated if the little cutie is capeable of "poop artwork" like some of the PZ animals in the beta :ROFLMAO:

You can't say you have a beagle puppy without providing a pic. That is pure torture. Pleeeease? Baby beagle pic?

Nice!! I’ve sketched a map of my future zoo, upgraded my graphics card, and took the week off just to play. I also won’t be reading any forum posts on launch day to avoid any major spoilers before I get to play it for myself. I’m so excited! :)

OMGOSH! Beagles are my favorite type of dog! :love: I have a Jack Russel/Beagle named Copper sleeping next to me right now.

Well, I went ahead and took the week off work as I had some extra vacation days I needed to use... Which will leave me with a full weekend and Monday to occupy myself. I plan on familiarizing myself with my new laptop, watching YouTube videos, coming up with more wishlist ideas, etc. It's been a mad dash to this vacation at work so I'll be busy the next couple of days, which will make the rest all the more welcome!

The night before release (Monday, November 4th) I'm actually going to a show so that should keep me plenty distracted the night before! Haha.

On the day itself I’ll be staying clear of the forums and social media to avoid spoilers.

I can’t wait to see what animals there will be as that will inform which zoo I start with.

I have lots of ‘if x animal is there then I will start with x zoo’ lists and notes and I am continuing with the enclosure sketches and maps I’ve been working on for ages.

Unfortunately I have a class I can’t skip that evening and a day of appointments on the next day but maybe that’s a good thing as I could just go into hiding for days otherwise...
