How do you prepare for Launch Day?

Lol he is such a great mix. I call him the "eternally wet puppy" because he gets in the water any chance he gets. Pool, pond, sprinkler, rain, you name it!

That's him at about 4 months :) most of his pictures have people in them, so unfortunately I can't post a more recent one.

1. Improved my office/gaming room layout and had a tidy/clean
2. Booked off all week from the 5th November from work.
3. Going shopping this weekend for food supplies
4. Gotta find a frame for the planet zoo poster I won via competition so hang over my 50 inch computer screen (TV) haha.

Sooooooo oooo.... HYPED!

Today, I will pick up my computer which I broke when trying to slot in more RAM. Well, it wasn't really broken, but it needed a BIOS update. Who could have known! (Well, please don't answer this one. Everybody, I guess! :rolleyes:)

Anyway, my preparation for Planet Zoo Launch Day is done now and just in time.
The only last little bit of preparation would be: the ability to pre-load the game on Monday.

Pretty please??? 🥰

Oh gosh this beautiful color! He looks like a giant Lagotto on that pic. I want to cuddle him the whole day. I would actually take a break from Planet Zoo to do so for such cutie!

On Tuedays I have school until afternoon and a friend asked me, if I want to go to the cinema in early evening. But on wednesday I have my one day off work, so I can play all day :)

EDIT: And because everyone shares pictures of their dogs, that's mine :) Took the pictures yesterday

First of all I have marked the date in my calender (fun fact, the frilled lizard in the calender is actually my own frilled lizard)

And secondly I am already planning my zoo in a spread sheet, like what themed worlds I do want to use and what animals I want to house in each theme, writing down some habitat & building idea's.
I am also brainstorming about what the future DLC's might be like.
And I am saving for a new videocard & processor for my PC, so I can play Planet Zoo at it's full potential.

But unfortunatly november is going to be a pretty busy month as I am going on holiday, the store I work in will be moving, I have a fossil fair and a fossil dig planned, I am going to a Hans Zimmer concert and I am going to Dutch Comic Con.
So I won't be able to play Planet Zoo as much as I would like in the first month.

Beautiful Frilled Lizard! Did you made the calender yourself or was he / she modelling for an official calender?

Here are, by the way, my three furbabies. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady. My cute buggers will drive me nuts after launch, because, well, they hate when mommy plays games and has no full attention for them. The photo was made last year in april. Hard to have them all in one photo and all looking at the camera.
From left to right: Jaro, Nuka and Sookie. I will name some Planet Zoo animals after them, based on their personalities. Only Sookie will actually be a cat :D

This is the yearly SERA calender, SERA is a well known brand of aquarium supplies (they have a few things for terraria as well).
And last years they organised a photo contest to make in into the calender and I was lucky enough to be among the 12 winners :)

Love your cat's btw, ragdolls if I am not mistaken? :)

You have a good eye and obvously cat breed knowladge :) Sookie and Jaro are indeed Ragdolls. Nuka, the one in the middle, is a birman.
I remember SERA. I used to have a german blog aorund pets and animals, so I'm a bit like a sponge when it comes to these topics. SERA is also very popular here in germany, indeed.

I'm still jealous. Four tomcats. That was actually always my dream cat-group. Then I fell in love with my girl and according to her, a "husband" and a "son" (they act like that) is clearly enough. No more kittens in this house for Sookie. :D Jaro on the other hand would vote to move in with you. Soooo many buddies to chill with.

yes you are right and they can detect so much more, they would even be the better drug dogs, problem is, cats are cats and do not follow orders.
I think I am the typical Old crazy CatLady and proud of it. my Steam-account(and some otheres) is named after a cat species from the books of "A song of Ice and fire": Shadowcat. I can asure you that my cats think I am a weir Catlover, too :ROFLMAO:

Thank you, I have studied animal care in grad school and learning all the different dog & cat breeds was a course during that study, plus I currently work in multiple pet stores, although I mainly do the aquaria & terraria animals, a small degree of cat knowlegde is still handy ;)

Well now that the exact time has been announced for launch I have set an alarm to wake me up early. I wasn't expecting to get to play until after class on launch day since the beta came out while I was on campus. A few hours before I am supposed to sit through lectures means I probably won't skip class.
