How FD could make a lot more people play in open play

I'll explain the analogy: Earth is the planet you presumably live on. It consists of multiple regions. Some are deserts. Just because you are in a region in ED that lacks X, doesnt mean the game lacks it. Just because there is little water in the Sahara doesnt mean there is no water on this planet. BTW, if the jury is still out, why are you recommending it? And why do you not mention that after years and years of development all that 'emphasis' has led to a total of zero actual in-game support for any social interaction beyond random murder for no gain? Ah, thats right, you dont mean to provide a sincere and honest suggestion or comparison. Fine.

As you're being willfully obtuse I'll just wish you loads of fun with the emphasis on social interaction in SC. Dont forget to send a postcard after your non-stop deep emergent gameplay. :)

I honestly didn't expect such a defensive response, but I apologize if I rattled some feathers ;)

I don't mind if ppl like the emptiness of ED. But for the ppl with different expectations, there might be some alternatives that deliver on a richer social experience, such as SC.

That's all I'm saying. :)

Ha, guess I'm having a bad-feather day: just looking at them ruffles them up. :p Thing is that we currently have ED. NMS wont have multiplayer to speak off, I:B is basically just a shoot-em-up and noone knows what SC will ever turn out to be, or when that might happen. I'm hoping all these games pan out great, but right now we might want to focus on how to improve on the multiplay gameplay of ED for those who want that, and consider any other game a bonus if it delivers. :)
