How many credits per hour do you typically make?

I do not know and I do not care.
That is not how I want to play this game and in my opinion that is not how it should be played, because in the long run it will diminish your enjoyment.
I do however take care that my net worth grows in a perhaps slow, but steady pace on average.

A lot of the whining is done by people who play the game like it was a bookkeeping game with spaceships.
Do not fall into that trap!

yes, i can see this.. I was grinding for money since release on XboxOne. Smashed few ship because i was running cargo without shields.. But now, i finally have my ASP, and money to outfit it. Now im going to focus on board missions, and roleplaying.. I want to be able to visite Sol. And i think i eventually start powerplay for Alliance factions..

I am only going to grind it out until I get the ship I want, which is the FDL, then I'm good for a while. While I'm focused on money now, I am still enjoying the game and want to play nothing else!

I ground for credits hard since this game came out now I have a Python worth well over 100mill and I'm not really sure what to do with myself lol I don't wanna focus too much on the power play as I know that progress will be getting reset soon so im thinking I might just bounce around the galaxy doing random board missions and exploring possibly doing enough for the feds to grab myself the permit for sol and then outfitting my ship for exploration and heading off into the unknown though I wouldn't mind being a heavy escort as well since I still have more then enough to afford the insurance on my ship a few times over. But as far as it diminishing my experiance I would say no it hasn't of course it was hard and of course trading isn't always fun but now I'm sitting in what I would consider my end game ship and since my save was corrupted and reset twice (don't worry they gave me my balance back) right now I'm currently unranked in EVERYTHING lol probably gonna look hilarious to anyone who scans me and see a mostly penniless mostly harmless completely aimless pilot in a Python lolololol

Expected to be super jelly after viewing this thread. Was not disappointed.

Some days I get the right board missions and fruitful res sites and make a mill in an hour and there are times when the stars just don't align for me.

That's the way she goes.

It's a slow and steady process try to stick to two systems become allied with both and the missions will stack up. I suggest Calennero (Bolkow terminal) to Kamadhenu (Fabian city) in Lavigny Duval Empire space that's where I made 90% of my money after getting alied with both they would give me 5-6 smuggling missions at a time from fabian to bolkow ranging from 50k-200k going back and forthe between the two

I currently have a Cobra with 26 cargo spots open, and I'm Novice combat, Merchant trading, and Aimless exploring (don't do that yet).

How much should I be expecting to make? It seems like saving up the 20Mil I would need for a Clipper will take me several weeks...

I just don't know.

I am currently making 1.3 million Cr per hour trading using an Imperial Clipper with 120t of cargo. Each round trip run which takes about 15 minutes is making about 337,000 Cr.

I only make about 750k max per hour if lucky, but then again I only have my MIII Cobra so I'm not a huge trader by any means. ANy creds I do make big hauls on are usually Imperial slaves. Only problem with that route is that station scans can sometimes get you and the fines are hefty.

I also have a cobra. By farming res and nav beacons the most I have made is 300000 in an hour. I have read people have made 3-4 million though

Currently running a pretty stable route and making 8.5m/hr with 448T of cargo space.

I've turned to the dark side
