How many ELW here

Can someone show me an example of this so called sound you hear from different planets?

To me, they all just make a weird noise when you scroll over them, then... well, another weird background noise that all sounds the same.

Anyone got a video with the audio to explain this anywhere?

I've done an ELW and a Water World in these examples, quick & dirty.
(System Map, clicked/centered & zoomed in fully onto Planet; 200% Volume Amplified, since it's quite subtle in-game... at least I typically have to momentarily raise Audio Volume to clearly hear it in the System Map) :

ELW : http://www.falconfly.de/temp/ELW.mp3
(Spheric FX with Animal (bird?) Secondary)

Water World : http://www.falconfly.de/temp/WW.mp3
(Predominant Spheric FX with wobble setting in)

PS.
I wonder why there's still no "Audio Guide", similar to the SRV Wave Scanner Guide when it comes to "Planet Idle Audio FX".
I always use it to make sure it's a Water World, ELW or a High Metal Content in habitable disguise ;)

The same Idle SFX can be listened to (including the entire Galaxy) when sitting in normal space and being in Idle (0 Speed, fullstop, zero Throttle) for >15 Seconds and pointing the Ship nose - or headlook - at something.
Kudos to the Audio team, it's quite mesmerizing having the Ship's nose super-slowly pan across the Galaxy FA OFF while having the Volume full up and just listen to the Galaxy.
(just don't press any buttons or do anything that triggers Ship SFX or even the Ship's Computer Voice while the Volume is way up :D )

I would've guessed first four are HMCs, then a WW, then another HMC. That said, if I were intentionally exploring I would've still scanned all those bodies... since the buff HMCs at least are worth a bit of scratch, while bodies 3 through 6 are all likely candidates for being terraformable, which is good news for their value.

Also, this chart is quite handy! (FIXED)

Further to the posts about the 'Music of the Spheres' I've tried it on PS4 and never get *anything*. Can any other PS4 players out there confirm/contradict? If it's just *my ears* that are defective, I don't think I can get a refund on that hardware lol! :D

Try putting your audio on "Night Mode". I personally leave it on Night Mode 100% of the time, the various audio levels feel better-balanced to me that way.

I dunno why it keeps changing size... I edited about 10 times and it kept changing every time even though the URL was the same... I'll find a different one...

Edit: Fixed... I prefer the one I've put because there's a few more examples and the values are up to date (e.g Terraformable now adds 300,000 rather than 30,000)

True, the info on yours is better...but the background is prettier on mine! :D *casually steals the bookmark*

Thanks for the chart. You can see how ELW looks like blue WW and HMC.

Anyways, I lost my chartographs when a Thargoid Interceptor killed me [knocked out]
