I voted for around a couple of hours. Back in my hardcore WoW raiding days sinking 4 to 5 hours a night into gaming 5 days at week (at least) was common, but for whatever reason (and maybe because of that) I now find it hard to stick at any game for extended periods.

About 7-14 hours a week I'd say, but weekends might bring that up, and I am getting a bit sick of EVE (again) so that opens up some time

When I was a single professional it would be around 7-8 hours a day probably - I used to play games to the detriment of my job the next morning on many occasions and Frontier was certainly responsible for a good degree of that. Moreso Falcon 4.0 and EF2000 though (ahhh those good old days of blissful irresponsibility).
But now with a family its gaming only after the kids have gone to bed - so probably 3 hrs max a day unless the game pulls me in so much that I dont go to bed until well into the morning. But so far the only game to have done that recently was Kerbal Space Program on which I have spent around 250 hrs so far which is a heck of a lot for me. Most games I spend under 60 hrs before I start getting a bit fed up with them.
ED - I really dont know - lack of planet landings will reduce my play time considerably because that was my favourite part of the previous games. I guess I will be happy if I play it for more than the [terrible] X games so 30 hrs+. I am not sure that I will play it much more than 100 hrs in its present condition, but we will see what I feel like when I actually get it. I have played an enormous amount of games in my time and this one does look very promising. But so far impossible to say without seeing more of the varied gameplay beyond the trading and fighting.

I'll be lucky to manage 7 hours a week. My son will have just turned 1 by the time I get into beta and he has no interest in video games yet.
I think that's about right. It's probably best asked as a weekly thing. That's easier to guess. I know exactly how much I'm playing now but I'm sure it will get averaged out down the road..
I'm pretty sold on this game already, I'm spending a good 2-3 hours a day on it in beta, and there's only a few systems and no mechanics...
