How many island are they in jurassic world evolution...free ?

There are six distinct maps with the base game. One for each of the Five Deaths: Isla Matanceros, Muerta, Pena, Sorna and Tacaño, and one for Isla Nublar. Each large DLC: Secrets of Dr Wu, Clairs Sanctuary, and Return to Jurassic Park add another two maps bringing the complete total to 12 if all major DLC's are added.

DLC are not free, therefore you get 6 maps with the base game. Isla Matanceros, Muerta, Pena, Sorna, Tacaño, and Nublar

Actually, there are six islands in which the base game takes place. Each one hosting a map for free, and multiple maps if you buy DLC that jumps it to 12.
edit: And as @86.karlos pointed out, a 7th island, sanctuary, is DLC exclusive.

In the game is SEVEN islands - Matanceros, Muerta, Tacano, Pena, Sorna, Nublar and Sanctuary. On Muerta, Tacano and Sorna are accesiable two locations and on Nublar three. Another islands have only one location.
