How many NPC ever ganked you at once ?

(2 for me and I got out barely alive).

I was staying away long enough from 'dangerous' missions and doing chores like exploration / low profile passengers till I earn enough credit for an Anaconda and practice shooting at nav beacons.

So, I though I was ready, in one mission, I was ganked twice by Anacondas. In both situation, I managed to stay in combat long enough till the security joins in. That's when the enemy ship got blown up.

Then I follow up with a next mission - over a long deep space travel. Got interdicted by Anaconda, we had a good fight till it decides to jump away. Then just as fast, I was interdicted again, this time the same Anaconda was joined by a Type 10. I didn't last long there, but luckily managed to jump out after a slow charge, due to those huge ships mass. Hull was down to 12%.

The most was something like 14, but that was deliberate.

I had a go at doing passenger missions and realised that certain passengers attract attacks.
Transferred my Corvette to the station, fitted it with some passenger cabins, loaded it up and then just flew through the destination system for about an hour, until I'd seen something like 8 "incoming hostile" messages before allowing myself to be interdicted.

At first only one hostile ship appeared...but it was, say, an FDS with a couple of Eagles as wingmen.
Then another group appeared, then another, then another, until the scanner was filled with red dots, like a CZ!

Worst thing was, a LOT of them were firing missiles at me, to the point where I couldn't see anything out of the cockpit due to the explosions.
I was just looking at the scanner to line up targets, targetting them and using the "target locked" icon to aim my shots.

It was hilarious! :ROFLMAO:

Try the wing assassination missions! That's always a 4 vs 1. With engineered enemies.
Besides I would try to learn shooting in a smaller ship, the anaconda flies horrible. Get yourself a Krait, that's still a relatively big ship and get acquainted with fixed weapons. NPCs will soon lose their sting.

Try killing one of your own team in a CZ

I've done that deliberately too. 🤪

Can't remember what caused it but my own side did something dumb that made me decide that the best thing to do would be to just remove them all from the gene-pool.

I did a similar thing during the "Battle of Bunker Hill" in Fallout 4.
I started off just trying to shoot the synth's but then the Brotherhood started shooting the Railroad guys and the Railroad started shooting civvies so I just decided the best thing to do was kill everybody to end the battle.

Maybe it's me?

I believe 6 but it was my own fault. Did a mega ship defense scenario and boosted towards the pirate spawn rather than waiting at the mega ship...

A whole compromised NAV point, 2 pirate lord Corvettes, 1 pirate lord Anaconda. And a Hauler trying to nick my cargo. For once retreat seemed a good idea.

Yes, go into a Compromised Nav Beacon with something nice in your cargo, and watch the attacks flood in.

I have had a case once where I was interdicted by a NPC and as soon as I had escaped him, another interdicted me. It was, quite literally, escape one and straight into the other without so much as a by your leave.

I could take on the NAV fairly easily, it was having to tank 3 huge PA while I fought the first Corvette that was tricky. It was the first situation where SCBs would have been useful for certain because in PvE I never use them.

I don't recall the exact number, but whatever it is, when you take cargo to a CNB, that's how many I was against. :ROFLMAO:

It was a very chaotic 10 minutes until I got on top of things. 😁

Also back on the old days, when a pirate massacre mission would ask you to kill 15 pirates, and then spawn a wing of 15 sidewinders was quite the battle.
This was before engineering too, just my a rated FDL, being pecked to death by sidewinders. Hilarious!

Think there were 4 of them.

I didn't count in the CZ or compromised nav beacons :)
I was just stacking supply/delivery missions and i saw that one NPC pirate in a Mamba was getting cocky with me.
So i said ok, let's see what you got. I submitted, boosted, deployed weaps and then 2 more Anacondas and some Alliance ship joined in. And i was in a Python with 3A shields and 270t of cargo.
There was some panic mode there, but eventually i managed to low wake and then i never ever submited to any interdictions while having staked missions.

Get a vulture, engineer it, go into a CZ, don't select a side, and just unleash hell upon all of them.
Or you can go to a hotspot, look if you find more than one wing of CMDRs from the same group, let them interdict you and try to survive as long as possible :D

Back into the game just before the Eng. redo, about 3.0 I think. Sodding about in my totally un-engineered cobra and saw a Non-Human USS level 4 in Maia...dropped in to a scanner FULL of red and within seconds was down to about half hull...Class A thrusters and survival instinct saved my bacon, not sure how many exactly but it was more than 6.

That was a great welcome back to the game TBH, I felt the thrill again.

Get a vulture, engineer it, go into a CZ, don't select a side, and just unleash hell upon all of them.

But if you go into a CZ and not choose a side, then you attack one of the ships there, don’t you automatically get assigned to the opposition of the ship you attacked?

Recently? I think about 8 or so. Pythons, Vultures, Kraits, Chieftains and Anacondas.

Was visiting one of those Installation to find out what those new "Scenarios" were all about.
Once it popped up after a Minute, I wanted to see how it unfolded and agreed to Defend the Installation.

I managed to take down a few Ships in longer fights but any 1v2 didn't work well. I eventually realized I couldn't win it and after some 15 minutes had to leave with ~12% Hull.

I was in an Eagle - and learned this really wasn't a good Ship to participate in such a Scenario
