How many of you don't play anymore?

I read the forums most days, and I look down at my HOTAS but rarely pick it up to play anymore. I was wondering who else is feeling a little let down and sad by what we have so far? I still have high hopes for the game and think that they will make it much better this year.

To all you that are feeling like I do, stay hopeful. There is still time but the clock is ticking

Depends on what you are looking for from ED.

Was founder for MWO played and still do, but just fighting/shooting is not enough.

During the Alpha period I played every spare minute I could, from 2hrs a day up to 10+ hrs a day on the weekends.

Recently I'm finding myself playing less and less, actually I think I've barely put 3-4 hours in the entire last two weeks. I'm kind of waiting for an update that excites me, sadly I have no interest in groups so the 1.2 wings update isn't something that will drag me back but I'm hoping that 1.3 or 1.4 has some great content for us loners.

I dont play every day like I used to, but I do still pop on every few days for my spaceship fix.
.
I am likely to be playing a fair but more now that I can play with friends in wings.

I'm pretty well done. All I've done since I've gotten the game is trade. I mean, I started off my first few million dog fighting and bounty hunting. The only thing left is to try the capital ships but the cheapest one I even want is 22 million. I'm still 10 million away from that.

My eyeballs are bleeding from all the tedious trade menus and I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to hate the game. No Man's Sky won't get here fast enough.

I should be burned out given the number of hours I've played since I got the game halfway through January but somehow I'm not. I think it's probably because I don't concentrate on any one thing.

Sometimes I do mindless repetitive trade runs, sometimes I hit the RES for bounties and sometimes I combine trading and fighting by doing the long rare run and hit the nav beacons while i'm waiting for goods to resupply.

Also I carry an advanced scanner and scan every system I go through and then when I'm at a loose end I go through them and look for particularly interesting systems, fit out a hauler and go and do a comprehensive survey of those systems.

The only thing I don't do is mining because scooping up lumps of rock one at a time is incredibly boring but if they give us drones or tractor beams I'll probably do that too.

still play but not a lot like i used do . got the ships i wanted . so let see what happens this year with the game .

I have been trying to get back into the game, but the grind is too much for me. Trading makes me want to gouge my eyes out, but bounty hunting is so comparatively slow that I feel like I'll never get to any larger ships (I currently have a ~6,000,000 credit Cobra to my name, and 500k in the bank). To even BUY the next largest ship is four times the credits I've ever earned, let alone outfitting it.

Since audio issues introduced with 1.1 and seeing that a lot of smaller improvements or bug corrections have not been taken into account, I play about a 1/10th than before. Lost fun and hope unfortunately.

Still playing as often as I used to. Mind you I am role playing my character so maybe that's helping. I have always suffered from real life distractions so that's probably helping too. Wings and Community goals haven't done a lot for me as I play the Lone Ranger.

I play on a gaming laptop hooked up to me telly.

For the past few weeks I've been mainly trading and watching netflix at the same time. The tedium does not really set in then.

- there has only been a couple of time i've ran into a space station though which is can be pain to the wallet as I run an ASP without shields.

Couple of hours a day, i set my own goals, do 2 million in trading a day and play some bounty hunting when my friend is on, instead of going all out on the game which just tires me out, which happens with all games for me.

Looking forward to the new patch so now im just saving up for my combat FDL and then i can play together with my friend a lot easier due to wings. :D

If all I concentrated on was getting a bigger ship, then I can see how I would get bored quickly too, because of the sheer cost. I've also avoided all the quick-buck shortcuts.

Instead I decided to set myself much more achievable goals - Rank progression with both navies; Getting myself allied with seven or eight systems close to each other or working to be awarded permits for closed systems.

I also haven't concentrated on one profession.

So for me there's still lots to do, I'm not sitting in a huge ship with more cash than I can spend.

I started playing on release day and did so for 1-2 weeks on a daily basis. After that a few hours on the weekends for a month. Now it`s down to half an hour after a patch came out.
