How many projects are you working on at once?

Hey there,

In the fear of having a bunch of unfinished projects, I tried to force myself to bring my current Main project (Animalia) to an end first. However, the urge to start another, specific one with more focussing on building beautiful and detailed tickled in my skin and yeah... I started building. Sometimes in a day, I don't want to quit playing the game though, but am left with no creative energy. Was considering challenge for this....

I was wondering, how many projects do you work on simultanously?

Usually I start something, really like it, get really into it, watch a couple of YouTube videos, go back, hate it, delete it, start again, start again, start again, go on a two week hiatus, then get back into it.

I try not to keep too many save files lying around. At the moment I'm trying to do a sort of 'classic' themed zoo (at least in part) but the classic theme is so difficult to work with. I wound up starting again to build a road/car park, deleted that, did just a car park, but the carpark was more 'modern', so now my headcanon is that the zoo is based on an old Victorian park, but the carpark was remodelled in the 60's or something so I'll be mixing classic and modern architecture throughout.

I really wish Frontier would give us 'official' tools for building things like carparks. It works fine to use the in-game pieces but it's so finnicky and you have to use so many pieces. A terrain paint for asphalt and gravel would be really great, and so would parking-space art pieces you can place on the ground (including signage for disabled parking and the like), as well as more alphabet pieces in different fonts (Rycie's fonts are awesome, but they're all multiple pieces in and of themselves, so the game slows down a lot quicker when you use them).

I think Frontier kind of underestimated just how much players of these games enjoy random props and set pieces. We could use a full DLC with nothing but that in it at this point I think.

One. Simple answer :D Same project since the 7th or 8th of January. But really taking it slowly.

I know that very well. Challenge mode has worked fine for me. By now, I have enough money, so that I don't have to worry about building costs at all, but also a ton of management tasks. When I'm creative enough, I build and expand and try to make it as nice as possible. When creativity is gone, I'm still busy with the management, breeding and just admiring my animals.

I’m currently working on two but might give up on one. I completed one zoo so far since launch lol. I usually get a third or half way on one before new ideas make me abandon it. I was the same in zt2. I’m going to try to finish my current zoo this time  I think lol.

I have two on the go, the first is my franchise zoo in Asia with all Asian animals. Not touched it for while now but will probably go back this month as only have 3 more animals to complete it until more are released.

I have also started a replica of Singapore Zoo in sandbox which I have been spending my time on recently. Have maybe 6 enclosures left to go and then lots of decoration and also a boat trip. Will keep adding to this as animals that aren't currently available hopefully get released.

Maybe April time will be starting my second franchise which would have to be African animals due to numbers but that's all good.
