At the moment on my way to buy an Imperial Clipper.

1. 8xSidewinder + 1 Adder all used for map markers.

2. Asp for Expo and rare trading

3. Vulture for combat

4. Anaconda, using for trading at the moment but working towards duel use with combat

Asp - exploration-fitted
Viper - combat-fitted
Vulture - combat-fitted
Cobra - combat-fitted
Eagle - combat-fitted

Some variation is nice to have.

I just traded everything in for a bare bone Python and 10 mil spare. Cutting it finer than I'd have wanted considering insurance and trading capital, but that discount was irresistible. Now ensues the painful search for an A5 FSD near Zaonce..

Sidewinder
Eagle
Hauler
Viper
Cobra
Type 6

Getting money together for the Vulture but I am not sure I really need it.
But it is a good thing putting money into buying ships. It is the only way to safely invest money without loosing it (as long as you still can pay the insurance xD )

Asp - multi role - trader, missions, light NPC combat.
Vulture - bouty hunting, assasinations, conflict zones.

I do find the Vulture one dimensional as hell compared to the Asp, but it is very good at what it says on the tin.

A Multi-role Asp http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=60g,0...5Rr5Rr,317_7_7_6Q6Q8S8I,0AA7Sk4zM7fE2UI2jw0nE which I use for ranking missions, rare trading and shuttles runs to my Vultures.
An Asp ready for exploring http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=60g,0Wg0Wg0Wg0Wg,2-3I8S7_6u5K8S8I,5220KU0KU0KU0KU2UI2jw and stored in my home system.
A bulk trading Python http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=605,mpX0_g0_g0_g0_g,2-A0A07_6uA0A08I,0AA0AA0AA08c08c07205U7Pc0nE which is stored on a nice 1500<>1100 trade route with lots of short hops to other high value stations which has very little traffic.

In total, around 240M in assets.
