How much does 1 unit of Modified Embedded Firmware cost?

Yeah those seem harder and harder to get now. Out of 100 missions I looked at yesterday across about 10 systems that i'm allied with. I was able to get 1 normal mission with 5 as the reward. The others I saw were wing massacre missions giving 3 as a reward for killing 175 pirates or terrorists. Where CIF's are handing out like candy for missions now.
The list below (print it out and keep score) contains sites that drop CIF and MEF when all of the data-points are scanned. All the settlements are exactly the same layout (see map) and used to (I have not run it in a while) drop 40-60 CIF and MEF per lap, a lap which can be run every couple of weeks:

UGH! That is horrible!
There is no reason to stick around a borked station or system if it stops delivering the missions you want.
Check out the system named "PIRA" near Cubeo in Imperial Space. Either Kraft Depot or Kuo Port. Both have an endless supply as far as I can tell. Been getting as many as I need for months from Pira, and several other systems in the same sector.
They are very common rewards from their Planetary Scan, Pirate Lord, Black Box/Space Salvage and Boom Time Delivery Missions. (5) per mission if you take the highest paying versions.
I just turned in 4 of these missions a few minute ago. I believe you can stack as many as 15 at a time if you want. My MEF stock is once again about to hit the cap again.

Well from recent threads and reports I'd expect the amount to but cut to a third, as it's apparently only 1 per scan now not 3 like before. Just something to keep in mind. People are getting up in arms over not being able to instance flip at the magic spot anymore and get 3's at a time. It's been said its intended for all scans. [where is it]

Nope, this is confirmed to NOT intended in the last Will announcement.
All the datapoints drop 3 data, only the guardian ones are supose to drop 1;
Well the Initial FDev response said it was. I had not seen the new announcement. Although the link in the thread discussing that appears to be gone, as well as the initial thread where they said it and a few other things were intended?
Anyways not sure what is was thinking, when thinking all FDev people would be on the same page when it comes to issues. But hey good for those if it's not.

I got quite a bunch today from Extraction Economy Factions in State : Boom (all Boom-time Cargo Haulage Missions).
Based on these Mission's Rewards, the price varied from 250k-500k for 1 MEF.

Yeah I've found, for myself, using missions as well as scooping up blown up ship bits along with somewhat smart use of the traders is working really good for me. But I'm not one of those types who go for the best of the best quick with engineering.
I'm honestly expecting mission rewards to get hit hard by the bat at some point. It has the same issues that can cause the skimmer type incidents. But I got tired of running missions and killing so doing some dune buggy fun for other stuff right now.
