How often does EDSM update data?

After dumping the hard drive of 2 old pc's to EDDiscovery and sending data to EDSM on the 7th and 15th April have noticed all the systems have no celestial data on any of my finds. They are on EDSM but only the system summary is showing.

Do they only update at the beginning of month as systems I've sent on April 2nd have both system summary and celestial bodies showing?

I thought it was real time. Did you have EDD sync manually? I think the last time I needed to do something like that, I had to disable automatic sync, then manually sync, then re-enable. At another time, I just sent journal data straight to EDSM through its web upload. I think everything showed up immediately in each case.

Not sure.On my current PC any scans sent on April 2nd has celestial data on EDSM but not for April 5th onwards and I haven't changed any settings on EDDiscovery

The EDSM-website is updated pretty much instantly.

How old are those old PCs? If they (and thus the version of ED played on them) are 'old enough', the logs might not contain any celestial data to begin with. Is the celestial data available in EDD?

Not that old from october 2016 to November 2017

You have to sync your date to EDDN too, as far as I know that's where EDSM gets its body data from.

I think Eahlstan is correct. Not at PC now so can't remember if there's a way to 'force' an eddn sync, but if there is, give it a go. Else try upload the logs to edsm itself, I assume it would read the additional data (but not tried it).

EDSM is primarily a map of system jump coordinates.
EDDN is where the body scan data is sent and I believe EDSM gets that data through EDDN.

From the Admin menu, send unsynced EDDN events.

I don't think the switch was on to 'delay celestial bodies until docked' helped!

Switched it off and within a couple of hours all data was on EDSM!

P.S -managed to get seven of my nine found ELWs in White Dwarf systems on EDSM but if anyone is near the core and has EDDiscovery could you pop in to EOS CHREA AB-L D9-2745 and BLAU AIS YG-D D12-373 and scan the missing two systems :D
