How pirating should look

Google "Pirates" and you will get this, "Piracy is typically an act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. The term can include acts committed on land, in the air, or in other major bodies of water or on a shore."


However, seeing as it's only a guideline rather than a code of conduct, you can define what a Pirates is however you like. You can be whatever kind of Pirate you want to be. Some might conform to how you define a Pirate, others wont. Its the fact that other players don't interact, some open up the throttle and run, others turn and shoot but once in a while you get someone who will interact. Haven't met many, so I turned my back on Piracy and Bounty Hunting for the time being. I'm off to go explore and cruise the Galaxy, T.T.F.N.

I went light on everybody who complied today as a thankyou for having some manners - a long string of cheaters was having a huge impact on my motivation to be honest, I mean why fly an anaconda if your going to quit everytime you get interdicted? Its pathetic.. the fact you can just jump out isn't advantage enough? apparently not, I take a big risk, get fined because they scanned me then they alt F4 to escape any consequence... pathetic (not the only cheater today just the worst)

Sorry /rant off, glad to hear piracy worked out for some people involved and thanks to everyone who tried to role play a bit and made up for the cheaters!

I got interdicted in my combat-optimized bounty hunting Asp once by a Viper.

I came to a stop and typed: "What do you want?"

I can only imagine the Viper pilot scanned my loadout and freaked out when he saw what I packed.

Because the only thing that came back before he boosted away and spooled up his FSD was "sorry!"

Half of the people ( probably far more than half ) who complain about it won't have experienced it either, they just jump on the bandwagon and bleat until somebody pays them some attention.

So wich one is it? Half of the people or probarbly far more than half? Thats not generalizing at all. *Sigh*
