Mine should be rich, but he's blown it all on onionhead and loose women. That's the only reason he stills needs a job...
Nice try, but thats the min value of a signed integer
It was an overflow error, the value used in the display used to be an signed 32 bit integer so if you paid them more than that it created an overflow. It's fixed in 3.0 though

I do agree they should get a reduced 'stand by' rate when not on board.
I'd also be very happy to drop even a few million credits to get them an escape pod, so they don't die when on board a destroyed ship.
One thing that really irritates us that their percentage is taken off and doesn't appear to be included in Bounties handed in for a CG. I get why it happens as they are treated the same as multicrew but they are my employee and don't hand their cut in, like real players do so losing 15% on CGs is a bit unfair (I'm sure this happens, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
Mine is currently almost Elite with around 60m in earnings - I trust her completely with my Anaconda in fact she's way more accurate with fixed weapons than I am, which means I get to enjoy buzzing around in the SLF. Just make sure to keep a close eye on them and that they hold fire and only tackle targets you instruct them to, and always be ready to jump back to helm and let them to distract (attack) attackers while you high wake out, should things start to go pear shaped on them/you.

Mine's between 1.7 and 1.8 billion credits. I'm not logged in right now to know exactly where she's at.
She's a valuable resource. I just wish we could take out two Vultures together or something like that. I don't always like flying my big ships.

Would love to see this feature! Hiring and retaining several pilots could make for some interesting role play.
