How the sandbox can be improved

While the marketplace has been improved quite a bit, especially with features like the search bar, I think that the sandbox market in particular is lacking in certain features

My first major gripe is that you can't control what kind of stats your animal has. If I want a specific animal with specific stats or maybe a specific variant, it's always a gamble.

In sandbox, the ommision of an option to customize the stats of your animal is not only bewildering, but often quite annoying.

As well, you're not allowed to determine whether or not your animal comes in injured or scarred. And if you want to give this animal back, you can't just get rid of it immediately. You have to first take it to the vet, wait for that, and then you can either resell or release it.

This is a pain

Thus, I'm asking Frontier to please add more options to the sandbox market so that people can have more choice over what animals they get in sandbox mode

What I'm missing isn't those options but the simple one of having a totally random market like we do in challenge and career. Don't really like having all animals at the ready 24/7, not much of a challenge in there and a vital part of the game and how people want to play it.

Disagree with that, for me the whole point of sandbox is to remove any restrictions from other gameplay modes. If I wanted a challenge, I'd play challenge mode. Maybe something that could be turned on/off though...

Agree with these, frustrating as hell to have to pick from limited animals in the market. And don't get me started on having injured animals delivered - recently made a meerkat exhibit with 20 meerkats, 6 of which were delivered injured. Needed 1 vet per animal for some reason, took ages to round them all up...

I literally said I want the option for that, not a fixed thing. And for me sandbox means to give the players control over any game mechanic there is, so they can set up the exact way they want to play the game. Like maybe I want to have the challenge of not being able to get all the animals at anytime, while not having to babysit my staff the entire time. Or I want to build without the unrealistic habitat needs and build a realistic park with everything else enabled. That's what sandbox should be. A place where everyone can play and build the way they want and if you don't want challenges in your gameplay just leave the thing turned off.

Fair point, yeah.

See, I think the whole point of sandbox is having CHOICE be king

Thus, in this kingdom of free choice, this sort of thing is high-key unacceptable
