I can get to most places in my 26ly Cobra, I'm not going to break any records and the very edges would be a bit less tricky to navigate with more but 25/26 opens up more than 90% of the galaxy I reckon. 17-18ly will be a bit more limiting but you'll still get to most places.

made an ASP with 35 ly jump range for entering that vastness of space )
