How to do "increase education on X animal"

In Franchise you get some "challenges" now and then. One of them says "Increase the education level on X animal to 15% (currently 5% it says). But for every animal I have education items covering all of the viewing areas of the habitat/exibit. So how do I increase it??? And how can I even check what the education level for each habitat/exibit is??

Thankful for any help :)

I haven't had requests for education on specific animals just more education in general. To do this use the Conservation screens which are found with your regular screens and speakers. You can use these at any location in the zoo to display different topics such as climate change or deforestation.

I am not 100% sure but I think this is about the proportion of peeps who have been educated about a particular animal. So it's easier in smaller zoos because you have to try to get more people to go over to that habitat.

I only get the challenges for specific animals, as my overall education is at 5 star (I have researched all my animals to gold and have even done a bit of advanced research). I have both speakers and boards on every habitat, and have plenty of the conservation boards in my zoo (well over 50, if not 100).
If I have to get 15% of my visitors to a specific habitat/exibit, ye that will be hard, as I am closing in on 10k guests -.-

How did you manage to research all your animals to gold? I have stuck with ostrich education challenge: I've reserached everything but my guest education rating is 1 star whatever I am doing.

researching all animals is not hard at all, just put a vet on researching an animal and when thats done move on to the next one (don't do advanced research until you have researched all animals). The education is not only about the vet research. You also need education items all over your zoo. You need to have education boards and speakers at all your habitats and exibits so that it covers the viewing areas. You also need conservation boards scattered around your zoo. If you do all of that, you should have no problem at all getting your education rating to 5 stars :)

The education speakers are great too- stick them near observation points where guests tend to hang around and they get passively educated while watching the critter!

For the general education rate, it is indeed very helpful to cover the majority of your paths with speakers, so that visitors are within their range wherever they walk (important not to overlap them, though). Plus screens at the viewing points in front of the habitats. But I also got this animal-specific challenge from time to time and have no idea how to achieve that.

But with the upcoming update, we might get more insight into this:

We have implemented changes to make Guest Education clearer. The Guest Education tab, which is found in Zoo Management screens, will show:
  • A breakdown of the Guest Education Rating, which includes the average guest education level.
  • Which animal your guests have learnt the most about.
  • More information on Audio Guides, such as
    • How many were sold over the last year.
    • Average time of the visit spent using them.
    • Average number of species they've been educated about.
  • This tab will also show more information about Zoopedia Education Research and Vets that are doing Advanced Research.
  • In a separate tab, there will also be a breakdown of each animal and how well the education is performing. This will help highlight any issues with the layout of zoos and how it affects education.
    • This will include another tab for conservation boards.
