How to End an Outbreak in system.

So, I have a question for those more knowledgable in the BGS then I. I’m trying to increase a factions influence in a system, and my progress has stalled out. My faction has recently taken over one of the two docks in system. They have also just entered a state of Outbreak, and that controlled station my faction owns does not have a commodities market. Aside from buying and selling meds at the faction station, how else can you remove an outbreak status?

Missions to deliver medicines will probably help. Passenger missions to deliver medics from nearby systems will also be available. Or it'll wear off on its own in a few days.

How to create Outbreak state in a system?
The Biowaste delivery missions still seem to work, but you'll need an agricultural station to get those showing up in nearby systems. (Just selling Biowaste on the market won't help)

There is another cause but it's hard to tell what it is at the moment.

I see, how to find stations or systems with likely bio waste delivery missions and do they decrease receiving faction's influence? How many missions or tons to trigger an Outbreak and will medicine delivery missions appear in nearby systems as soon as system ticks into Outbreak state?

Stations which don't produce many commodities other than biowaste (Colony, Service, Tourism, Terraforming, maybe Military) may be more likely to give the missions. They'll need to be within 20 LY of the target agricultural. They give +inf to the receiving faction like any other legal delivery mission.

How many missions? Not sure. Probably quite a few, especially since you'll end up with them spread across a lot of target factions in the destination system.

Medicine delivery missions will often appear nearby if the system controlling faction goes into outbreak, less likely for other factions in outbreak unless they also own a station.

It could be the natural uptick fd introduced for Outbreak and Famine pre-3.3.
I'm pretty certain it's not that - excluding an Agricultural Biowaste-target outlier, Outbreak seems to be more common in Colonia in the higher traffic systems (like Pirate Attack is), with a lot of the quieter systems not having had an outbreak in the last six months.

There's a complication in that Pirate Attack blocks Outbreak and vice versa, so a few really high-traffic systems have no or few Outbreaks because they have enough traffic to get Pirate Attack cycles locked in on all their non-control factions too.

I'm fairly sure that, like Pirate Attack, Outbreak is triggered by player activity (rather than inactivity), with a long invisible Pending time to make it hard to deduce exactly what caused it. The exact type of activity is probably not the same, however.
