How to exit frame shift flight mode?

Greetings!
I have troubles with ending frame shift jumps, and I have really no clue what the problem might be.
I set my destination, activate frame shift mode, then after approaching my destination, the most times I just cannot exit frame shift flight mode, no matter how often I keep pressing the frame shift key, over and over.
NOTE: According to the notifications, the distance to my destination is ideal, (blue message), I already reduced the speed to minimum, so I just float near my destination, but NO, I still cannot end that damn frame shift jump. Normally, landing gear is retracted, weapon hubs deactivated, etc etc. So NO alert is displayed when I press the frame shift key at all, only a failure sound type beep, and it just won't stop!
This just exceeds my logic, what the heck am I still doing wrong, or am I this dumb???

Have you changed your key bindings? There are several frameshift keys which each do slightly different things, might be related.

make sure you have a key bind for "enable frame shift drive". Get both bars in the blue, check for the alignment point, then press the button

I've had this problem today. For whatever reason the game decided to moved my J key to "activate frameshift hyperspace jump" specifically, even thought before the 1.0 patch it was bound to general frameshift drive activation/deactivation. Check your keybindings, they might be mixed up as well.

comms window.jpgIf you hit the text comms key - normally "2" - nothing works as normal as keys are now used for text. If you see an empty bar (two yellow lines) below the comms window that means text chat is open. Hit the "2" key again to close it and your controls will work again. I sometims hit it by mistake.

Sorry guys, you were right, my frame shift key-bindings were configured wrong.
Although I could swear I assigned them right back then..........
