Exactly. The Eagle/Vulture/FAS are the 'easy' flight models: very little drift, just point and shoot. The FDL has a sharper agiliy drop off when out of the bluezone, plus is punished far more for dropping pips from ENG (about 20% drop from 4->0 pips)) compared with for example the Vulture (about 10% drop from 4->0 pips).

Ehhhh, I disagree..

I find keeping the fdl in line and dealing with a hi-draw loadout and biweaves much easier than trying to keep a FAS within 1km - 1.5km of the target with the drift involved, the FDL doesnt ever drag it's like the FAS will.

The out of blue zone agility is worse, but i dont think pips to eng are any less bad than the FAS.

Moreover, you actually have to be super evasive in a FAS, you don't in the FDL, you have supa shileds that soak up all the damage and regen, whereas the FAS is a finite hull number and has many, mnay more counters to deal with that the FDL just laughs at. IE: Scramble, missiles, rockets, HYS (Though less so after nerf) and railguns to name a few. The FDL is weak to none of those things, pretty much just torps and mines, or feedback cas' if you're stupid enough to put SCBs in it.
