Newcomer / Intro How to get into sol system?

As titled i know it says pass required but how do i go about getting it im guessing by doing certain missions for certain factions but which?

Is there a better system to do them for than others?

You should occasionally see missions to join the Federal Navy popping up in bulletin boards in Federation controlled systems. Complete one of these and then other missions will start to appear. Eventually you'll be offered a permit.

Hi - I believe you have to get to a certain rank in the federation. Not sure what rank through

Yep, do military missions.

I was just offered a permit to Achenar (Empire Capital) for doing the same thing on their side.
