How to get refund from Frontier?

Can anyone know how to get a refund for odyssey key? It is obvious that 3rd party sellers will not give money back for a purchased and assigned key - so what is the procedure on steam? Do i should write to Frontier, or Steam now? Please don't yell at me - i was thinking about that and i don't want to play this game anymore - i was hoping Odyssey will give me something interesting, now i see it will not happen even when it will be finished - and because i don't want to be a beta tester and play it once in a 2-3 weeks or when some bug will be fixed i just want a refund for this obvious devs lie and uninstall whole game.

HOW? Is it even possible?

Thanks for any help.

3rd party seller will refund your key. To the limit of your country law. If they don't, they are illegally operating, and you can remind them of that. If they still don't, mayeb you should buy from legally operating site :D

Frontier sold those key to the reseller. They can't refund them.

Haha! Forget it. You are stuck with this garbage. They do not give refund except during the first two hours of playing. If you made the mistake to play Odyssey beyond this period, not refund. You were bamboozled, like many of us.

Well, no option for getting money back as once key from external source is locked to account on Steam. Well this was good lesson - actually this was my first preorder in life and definitely the last one dlc for ED. Now i dropped the game and if i don't forget i will check it in a few months... not.

The money saved by buying from third-party sites isn’t worth it in the end for all the hassles if you have something go wrong. Plus it helps no one, only the brokers.

The game should show a world of difference in a month or two.
It is The Way unfortunately.
Come back soon and stay safe! 👍

If you played the DLC - Odyssey - longer that 2h then you're out of luck on Steam. You might have success using "I have a question about this purchase" in steam account, and explaining your situation to support politely. Explain that the game refuses to work on your machine or something. You might get a refund or a steam credit refund as a "gesture of goodwill". When it comes to DLC it's a slippery slope with Steam.

If that fails, there's one more avenue - if you paid via credit/debit card or paypal - use the chargeback mechanism in your bank or paypal's protection. Don't ask me how, I never had to do it. This however is a dangerous path to tread, as all your games are licensed to you on steam and you're steam subscriber... So I wouldn't risk my account over 40 bucks / 35 euros or 30 quid :) And frankly if Odyssey is ever to be released on last gen consoles, FDev needs to fix it anyway, otherwise the shareholders will rip them a new one, like they did with CDPR.

Good luck with your refund :)

Thanks for your support for the game!

You mean support for the company, game sucks and devs give a about it and players. Odyssey is absolutely not funny joke. I uninstalled it as whole ED and i'm sure i will forget about it before they do something good with it (if they not kill this game totally in a few months)
