Hello Survivors!

Stranded: Alien Dawn is out in Early Access on Steam, and we wanted to give you a quick guide to how you can help us make the game the best it can be by providing us with useful feedback or reporting bugs. Player feedback is important to our development process, so we've done our best to make it as easy as possible for you to share your thoughts with us.

How to Provide Feedback

There are multiple ways you can share your feedback with the Stranded: Alien Dawn team. All channels are regularly checked by the community managers, who will also be happy to help out in case there's any issues.

We've listed the different ways to leave feedback below for easy access below:
  • Option 1: Discord - We have a dedicated feedback channel in the game's Discord server where you can leave your feedback. This channel will be open to all Discord members, and you'll also be able to vote and discuss other user's feedback and suggestions.
  • Option 2: Steam Forums - The Steam forums are open for your feedback, and are open to all Steam users. Please avoid posting multiple threads about the same topic.
  • Option 3: Frontier Forums - The Frontier forums has a dedicated feedback category where you can add and discuss feedback for the developers. You will have to create a new account to post on the forums, but all registered users will be able to leave feedback here.
All your feedback will be collated by the community managers and shared with Haemimont Games. Please let us know what you think about Stranded: Alien Dawn's mechanics, game feel, and survivors. We also ask you to be respectful of other players' notes and opinions, and that you keep all discussions friendly and polite.

How to Report an Early Access Bug

With Stranded: Alien Dawn being an Early Access game, you may encounter the odd bug or technical issue while you play. Detailed bug reports will let the dev team know of critical issues and help them prioritise fixes for future updates.

There are two ways to report bugs and you can find them below:
  • Option 1: Frontier Issue Tracker - The Frontier issue Tracker is a way for the community to report and prioritise issues found in our games. Through the issue tracker you can submit reports, confirm other issues, and upvote existing issues that you think needs to be dealt with more urgently. You'll need to create an account to submit a report.
  • Option 2: In-game Bug Reporting Tool - Stranded: Alien Dawn comes with its own in-game bug reporting tool. Just click CTRL+F1 when you're in the game, and a window should pop up automatically. You can also attach your safe file to your report.
When creating your bug reports, please try to be as detailed as possible. Any additional information you can share about what was happening in the game at the time of the bug will be helpful to the dev team in cracking down on the issue.
