Newcomer / Intro how to make a poll?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a poll, checked the 'Create a poll with this number of' and then what to do now?
Where can I write down my options? previewing my post also shows no poll

Sadly, you can't add a poll until after you submit a thread. I tend to write something like "poll incoming, please wait" at the bottom of the first post, then edit the post to remove that text once I've written the poll.

Be careful when creating polls - people often complain about too many polls being created or questions that reflect the bias of the author. You might want to use the ugly interface as a hint that you should take that bit of extra time before posting
