How To Make An Amusement Pier

I was wondering if there are any videos on how to make an amusement pier in Planet Coaster. I'm looking for a step by step video. I would really like to make an amusement pier in Planet Coaster.

If you download one of Fisherman’s dark rides that’s a park file from his pier park, you will see how he made a pier. It’s wooden supports and the wooden block with metal fencing on the sides. You can place path directly on top of the pier, use the boardwalk texture for the path. I have some large pre-made pier sections that I could upload to steam.

If you enable Vertical Snapping in Game Options, you can make sure every path, shop, ride etc stays at the same level all the time. Makes it easier to build on height without having paths and shops at different levels.

I think you will get a long way by building with that enabled.

you can go on youtube and search using words...planet coaster vintage pier or just Planet coaster pier.....most are made with the vintage pack now that its out.


Deladysigner actually makes the entire pier. The pier is made in her Studio park (as in the studio dlc)

Thanks everyone for the tips. I will definitely check them out. Luuknoord I will make sure that I have enabled the Vertical Snapping in game options. Sounds like that would making a pier more easier.

Never tried it, but my guess it should make it indeed easier, or less hard, depends on how you look at it. Good luck! [up]

I enabled the Vertical Snapping in the game options and it does make it a lot easier. I haven't tried making a amusement pier yet. Thanks again for the tip.
