How to pause Track IR

I use TrackNoIR with a PS3 eye camera and it works great.
But I only want head tracking occasionally (combat, landing on platforms etc)

I would like to assign a joystick button to start / stop the tracking.
I can do it on the keyboard (with F3) but there is not a direct option for a joystick button.

Any ideas how to do this?

If you want it to be on the joystick you must go to the shortkeys setting, check/change the key it is bound there, default 'End' (can't be directly bound on a joystick, I think) and then somehow get one of your joystick buttons be that button on the keyboard (eg. set one of your joystick buttons to be 'End' key). The way how you do this again is different with all joystick, but you must do it froms it's own software

I'm gonna be a little snarky and say, you haven't looked through your keybinds?

Seriously there are a lot of "rage rage this doesn't work that doesn't work".

Yes they do. Take ten minutes and go through your keybindings, sit in your cockpit and flip through menu's. Learn your ship. Read. It's simple.

Not saying you are raging, you're actually ok but seriously it's ridiculous some of the complaints. OK that's out sorry needed to vent. Again OP you're not bad it's simply mind boggling how helpless some ppl are.

Within the TrackIR software is a function to provide a keybinding specific to pausing (alongside recentering) the TrackIR hardware. On my TI5 hardware it causes the leds to display orange in colour and after about a one second delay the camera in cockpit resets back to center automatically.

Just use a key or joystick binding which suits your needs.
