How to watch Videos, Browse and open apps inside VR ED live

Been messing around and came across V for VR.

It is pretty cool and allows you to have a browser in session with ED and so you can use all of your favorite web pages without taking off your headset or alt tabbing.

Works really well with Oculus CV1 and ED (Not tested with Vive)

Now I can have the BBC new video stream playing between my legs in VR whilst trading so credits

Thanks, neat idea. Unfortunately only supports Windows 10. I tried on 7 but gets an XInput14 error, likely can be solved by the developer but oh well.

It's called HELLOV http://www.hellov.io/ and has a thread already. It need to achieve a solid 90fps to work. So it probably won't on a i7 even when inside Station/RES.

Title really should have been "Hot to Watch Videos&Browse in ED IF you have 1. the Oculus, 2. Win10 3. Ridiculously OP PC even by VR standards."

They sure doesn't seem to be in a hurry to expand support to other platforms outside of the Rift, but ohwell, maybe in the future

so far I have gotten by well enough without but it would be nice for those long lonely trips.

I am running a 5960x O/C to 4.6 and a GTX1080 stock and get no performance issues other than the odd lack when the scene changes for example as you enter stations / roid fields.

No idea if they will add Vive or Win7 / 8 support.
