Chaff. You're missing chaff! Not all enemies run gimballs or turrets, but those which do ca be foiled.

Also... you doing combat in an Asp Explorer? Its viable, but not the best ship for it. If you are wanting kills while escaping, swap those lasers and MCs out for mines. If you want to do combat in an Asp, then i think really you need to start visiting Engineers. Number 1 priority has to be Engines. Even rank 3 clean drive tuning can make a major difference to combat ability.

That is one of the problems. I used to have chaff, but when i am interdicted, all my actions are aimed on submitting, boosting, boosting,m running and sometimes i manage to add pipping to this, but i always forget to employ chaff. I simply mdo not have the skill to do more than two or three things simultaneously. So after 50 interdictions (and never employing chaff) I decided to swap it for something i do use...

I tried the high wake thing and that seemed to work. still looks silly to me, to run to another system, quickly return and all troubles are away, but hey, when it works...

Thanx again, lots of people mentioned it, but never tried it because it is such a silly thing to do (roleplay-wise), Then again, in some aspects, Elite is not the free game it claims to be, so i can live with this strange exception to the overall game concept...

The interdiction mini game is kinda broken. Don't bother with it, you'll likely lose when defending. Just throttle down and submit immediately and then jump away to another system.
