Hunting time

I did some PKing in Ennead. I was attacking anything that was Felecia Winters PP faction. Not for bounty or Cargo but for the 15 merits that I would get. At least, that was before I realised the power play simulation isn't even running anyway.

Lol attacked you? Delusional much?. I left a link. For reference if you had read it, than it says go to the forum for more info. Not my fault you chose to not look into it, and rather you chose to out rite call me out.

All of this exists. Exactly how I said. If you don't believe me, look into it then try and call me out.

Your statement and I quote "our group plays on a separate instance of the same Galaxy". I asked you to clarify that statement by asking a very simple question, which you have now dodged not once but twice, is there a separate mode for Xbox that only your group has access to?

It is, look at the main forum pages. So many of these same pages have popped up since beta release. Some like pvp so they defend it. Awesome, really nothing wrong with that.

But as I keep saying, others like multiplayer PVE.
Solo no option
Private, not really either, sure MOBIUS but that would be assuming that every new and current player knew about it, and how to join in.

The only way a PVE-exclusive would work is if Frontier removes Solo and Private play. We already have three options today, adding a fourth will only splinter the community further. It would therefore be better if Solo and Private was was melded and turned into PVE-only so that we have only two options: PVE and PVP. I think this should also be a commitment, so no jumping between PVE and PVP with the same character.

With that said, I would like a more sandbox approach to all this; I really believe in everyone playing in the same universe and when part of a community experiences a problem they fix it with what the game has to offer.

Honestly have nothing to say to you. You have came at me with serious hostility in more than this thread. Click the link. It isn't hard, I did it by accident when putting here yet again. Do the research and stop picking others brains it clearly says follow the link for more details, why don't you ask the creator of MOBIUS

Hello all

Please calm down and stop attacking each other.

For the avoidance of doubt I don't work for Frontier Developments.

Within the game are private groups. If you play as part of such a group you will only be instanced with fellow group members. You will still be in the same galaxy and background simulation as every other player (bar Xbox at the moment, while in beta you are off in a universe of your own).

The Mobius group is a private group of players, I believe there are over 10,000 of them on the PC version, all of whom play in a PvE manner. The group has a thread in the groups forum here. It is called 'Mobius' after the user on these forums of that name. He started the group, it's his idea, hence it takes his name. As it is a Private Group it can set its own rules, and those rules are PvE only. Transgressors can be booted from the group by Mobius if he wishes.

That, indeed all, private groups exist in the same galaxy and background simulation as all (currently PC and Mac) players. When the XBox version is released, XBox players will enter the same background simulation and galaxy. You may call it a server if you wish. While X-Box players will be in the same galaxy, for various reasons will never be instanced with PC or Mac players. So if you play on a PC you may be in the same locality as an Xbox player, you cannot see that player, and vice-versa. BUT both of you are affecting the background simulation.

So, one galaxy and background simulation, but two subsets of players.

You could, if you wished, view the X-Box and PC players in private groups that can never meet. Within each of those private groups there can be sub-private groups (such as the Mobius group), and solo players, who play in an exclusive private group of one player.

I have not seen any FD announcement about a separate PvE server, or a PvE flag or similar. It is possible I have missed such an announcement.

The community is splintered because there are two main types of gamers that do not play well together. Solo was a pointless game type. And a pve server does a similar thing but add friendly players.

What I posted is not a clickable option on elite, its located in private, when unlocked on Xbox you'd search MOBIUS. You cannot join without applying on their site and due to it being their private server they can kick players that do not follow the rules.

MOBIUS is the largest community in elite. But issue is its just not easy for ppl to join, or find.

So frontier should just add a pve and remove the need for MOBIUS.
Which they discussed their surprise and interest in finding ways to meet the play styles of all gamers and not just pvp

You're correct frontier have not made an announcement that a specific PVE server is in the works, when asked they did say as always they are always looking to improve the game and provide exciting content for all players.

Thank you for posting this.
