Hello all. I got my FFE fever back a while ago when I discovered the glffe. I do enjoy the game again after couple of years, thanks to the freshness that glffe brought to it. But at some point there came a time when I was getting tired doing gargo runs via Sol - Barnard's star, so I sold my bulky ship and bought myself a decent pirating ship: The Cobra Mk I.
So, I did couple pirate runs by hanging near a spacestation and waiting for those juicy merchant ships to leave, scanning their entry clud, and then waiting for them at the other end. Now, when I got bored hanging at the stations I tought that I'd just hyperspace in to some system and look for the exit clouds that were already there. It was then that I discovered that it was impossible to do, because apparently glffe doesn't show the clouds on the system orbit map (F6). So then I went to check it with JJFFE and it did show the exit clouds perfectly fine.
So the questions are:
- Has anyone ever encountered this problem?
- Was it a big turnoff not to be able to pirate properly?
- Can it be fixed, and if so, how?
Thanks for your answers.
