Yep, me too.

Maybe I don't play it enough to get bored with what we have. Although I'd question the thinking behind complaining about a game because you'd played it so much there was nothing left to do. You'd think that playing a game to exhaustion would be an indicator of a good game....

Anyway, I still have so much to do. Other ships to buy, plenty of engineers to unlock, reputation to build, mission types I haven't tried yet. Amazing given how long I've been playing it. Top job imo.

Not sure if you saw the last trading statement.

Over 2,100,000 units of Elite Dangerous sold. Seems like they're doing okay given this is a niche sandbox game.

Having played (and loved) the BBC version back in the eighties, this was always the game I wanted (Even without planetary landings and engineers etc).
I have loved every minute of the 8 weeks and some change game time played - guess about 1300 hours.

Still find enjoyment bouncing from one activity to the next, and now have the added fun of my 11 year old Son flying in wings with me.

My only problem now is that when I am out deep in the black I want to be back in the bubble, and once in the bubble I yearn again for the Black! Guess its time to purchase that second account......

I don't have much time to invest in this game, yet I enjoy it everyday I Play. I Play maybe two hours a day, some days I don't Play at all. I Play since january and I'm still learning how to Play. Great game indeed.

Hang around here long enough and it's hard to fault FD for anything.

I too, love elite. It has its flaws to be sure but after 5 weeks in game it's safe to say they are minuscule in comparison to joy to be had

Yes, please keep making a game that over 1million people bought into and yet a tiny fraction of them still play. Long as you are happy with it, forget your customer base.

( No citation needed, just count the number of people who take part at CG's and ships that visit popular stations. That isn't a million strong player base. )

Right, because nobody plays in solo mode and everyone stays in the same five systems.

Yes right now I am sure upwards of 1.5 million people are playing Elite Dangerous for its compelling story line and rich deep content.

There is a very REAL reason i want Mr Braben and the Devs like Sandro to keep making the game THEY wan't to play, because it is exactly what I WANT to PLAY :)

Sure, looking forward to more, as was said, richer and richer game play over time.

I forked up the money for a certain game that was hyped for years..,. cough.. No mans sky... cough...what a let down.. seems some of the trolls need to move over there. There is a clear reason why Elite has 10x the daily players then its HAS and its nearly a new game.

I also played EVE, but you must commit your soul, children, wife, job, credit checks and everything else to actually participate past solo play or be stuck forever getting attacked bv 20 ships in low sec in EVE.
And solo play = a pretty boring life in high security.

IMO, several that spam daily hate are from the OTHER games whether devs/reps (likely) or hard core fanboi's.. another one i can think of will remain nameless. cough.. star citizen... cough.... who said that?


I have seen this on the stock market. 7 days a week 24 hours a day attacks on companies. they SAY they are just there to help people, what they WANT is for you to sell your shares because they are SHORTING. (making money making stock fall.

Being a singer song writer. "Hobby" but have performed many times live.. I do NOT write songs FOR people.. but songs i want to write. Now if others like it GREAT. if others want to hear it GREAT. dont like it? there are plenty of OTHERS to listen too
