I am sorry but this game is absolutely worthless

It seems as though it's not really the game that is at fault but rather how someone has treated you, which I do agree is wrong but being frustrated at the game is suffering you probably don't need.

The fist day I played my ship was ganked in the same spot you were, by a player who was on the same faction as me and asked "Should I expect to be fired on by players?" and people confirmed my suspicion; can't trust anyone.
To help me through the frustration I decided to stick it out in solo until I could afford the ship of my choice. Patrolling LP 98-132 for gold canisters with a sidewinder helped a great deal. Afterwards in a Type-6 I used Slopey's best profit calculator to make a decent amount in a short time. Although even after all the solo practise still I get destroyed by players but I find the experience a lot easier to deal with when I can afford to lose the ship.

everyone is always telling me to go do. Fly to Eranin 2 and find the federal distress signal. This is how I am in the whole 4k. Thanks to all of you who gave me this garbage advice.

I think first rule; don't let ANYONE tell you what to do!! (Find your own way, is better, too much trade in one place and the profits drop)

Studying routes is an equal part of Elite, as is going through a steep learning curve in space (it's tradition) ..
Unfortunately no player has any kind of right to own any kind of ship (only the right to attempt to earn one)

Getting ganked? Tough. Sorry. Suggest you try a different station/ commodity/ route.

All the best.
Bye.

That is not a gank. You are going into a combat zone. You have chosen a side to fight on. You go happily about your business engaging the opponents and someone who has joined the opposing side kills you. That is not a gank, that is combat in a combat zone.

You play a multiplayer game with combat and expect not to be engaged in combat by another player in a combat zone? They are not camping, they are participating in the mission. Being killed is the risk of entering a combat zone. If the NPC's kill you, you will still have to fork out for your ship, or are they "ganking" you too?

Yes you are right, there was a giant sign that says PVP zone.

I should have tried harder to compare the price of beans in Dahan city to Azerban city. Of course it doesn't help when one city does not sell beans, but if it did it would be cheap, also god knows where beans are sellinga t 0.564% profit, I shall endeavor to scour the galaxy, look at that wonderful galaxy map.

And fuel redock, approach, fly circles around the rubix cube city that apparently has no door. Then I shall land refuel, check for beans, if they have beans maybe these particular beans will be cheaper! or they might be more expensive!

The anticipation is killing me. Just think if I find more expensive beans and make a beans run like 10,000 times I can get my cobra. Only 20,000 refuels, docking requests 300,000 laps around various rubix the cube cities looking for the doorway, and 5,000 overshot hypercruise attempts.

Can't wait, its tasty!
