No, really though, this is what happens if you lose connection in the middle of a jump and your session can't be reestablished. You can wait for timeout, or force close the game and reconnect, you should be in the system you jumped from when you get back.

You need to quit and start again. Happened to me before except I was stuck in an interdiction fir eternity.
Don't do it! (pull the plug that is). You might have found a rare galactic anomaly that will lead you to untold riches, or the real deep gameplay part of ED, everything that the DDF designed!

Ok you convinced me, i'll wait a bit more to see if anything unusual happens

Thats what I thought once, I allowed myself to stay in hyperjump for 45 min till I realized I was not going anywhere special lol.. ctrl-alt-del and carry on
Lol no, don't wait it's just a connection error. Just ctrl alt delete or alt f4 if you can't get the menu. Or try alt tabbing out.
Lol I promise you it is not. I mean it's your play time, d9 what you like, but I think you are going to be very disappointed in a couple hours when you are still sitting in hyperspace wondering where the time went
That would be kool, I wonder how long they would simulate intergalactic hyperjumps in comparison to interstellar

No, I actually think the OP is doing a service to the community by staying in Witchspace, just to be sure there's nothing new to discover!
