I tried logging in today only to boot to a base Elite Dangerous logo in the Odyssey main menu. It was definitely running the Odyssey executable since I had the new galaxy map, I could see my character wearing his maverick suit, and I had the storage tab in the right panel. I couldn't do anything odyssey or horizons. I couldn't access holo-me or engineers and I couldn't disembark. I don't know if my account is in a weird state or if the small patch I got from Steam caused a very weird bug.

I logged out and back in. That seemed to do the trick

Think it couldn't retrieve the auth key that unlocks the Horizons/EDO features upon first login and fell back to the smallest possible denominator. And I think this is how "merging" Horizons and Odyssey will be implemented some day, just a server-side feature switch.
