I can't share or save screenshot

I make a lot of screenshots of Elite: Dangerous but if I go in "Upload" app I can't save/share it.
It's my problem or this feature is not supported?

Indeed. Not yet.

However, you can upload them with Upload studio to Onedrive, and share via Onedrive.. havn't tried it yet with screenshots though, but video's works perfectly fine.

The OneDrive trick works for just videos, not pics.

And Upload Studio will tell you it failed when it actually uploads.

I've raised this issue with the ever-amazing Microsoft. Spent over half an hour in a chat with a support guy who's also an Xbox gamer who loves Upload(!). He's raised the issue with their Engineering dept. Upload Studio->OneDrive does work for videos, and you can also add still pictures to a video (yeah, I know) and put them on OneDrive too. But... I WANT MY UPLOAD! :)

So, if i want to upload something i need to create a video with my picture? How?

Is this issue because ED's "Game Preview" state means we're prohibited from sharing clips and pics, or is it actually because Upload Studio and Upload are (still) screwed?

I tried sharing some Sunset Overdrive clips a few months ago. Upload Studio happily shared them to OneDrive, but absolutely *refused* to share them to Upload, instead preferring to repeatedly give me an error message. I tried rebooting, power cycling, removing and re-adding my XBL profile, etc. Xbox Support was of no use, and the issue was never resolved.

I know of other people with the same issue: Sharing to OneDrive works perfectly, but sharing to Upload does not.

Yeah I have tried some clips myself and they have not appeared. This really is an issue from a marketing perspective. Many of my xbox friends have asked for clips more to get a feel for the game before deciding whether to buy or not.

Even though the game is live now, I'm still unable to save/share screenshots... Is this possibly from going from the preview to the actual game without a reinstall? I'd hate to reinstall it and lose everything

You should not need to reinstall anything. The Upload app works separately from ED, and is not dependent on it. MS enabled Upload to save and share screenshots, shortly after the full release.

Your screenshots are here: http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Ultimii/screenshots

There's one from Elite there. To do it from Xbox, view a screenshot in Upload, hit the small button above the right paddle, and then choose share. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, but, even that doesn't show the most recent 3 that I've taken. I can't save our share those for some unknown reason...

It reads:
Capture not saved
Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again.

- It says this every time, and I retry on a regular basis.

Google resetting the cache on the Xbox one, think it involves repeatedly pressing the power button when the console is unplugged from the mains. It's probably worth a try, failing that, it's log a support ticket.

Yes, I've tried the Hard Reset to clear the cache. Still having the issue. Pending the results of the client update, I'll be taking the advice of opening a ticket with Frontier. Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it
