Submitted the paperwork to Customs a week ago through their on-line portal. Went in on Saturday to pick something else up and when I inquired about the Titan X, I was told they had never received the paperwork. Luckily, I had a copy on me and gave it to them directly. Was told it would take 3-4 days to clear.

So I might get it for Christmas, but can't say that definitely at this point. No one can predict the efficiency of Customs over the last few weeks before Christmas.

Good news everyone!

Got home and found a cruise pamphlet on the coffee table. I asked her what this was about and she said she was planning a girls trip to the Bahamas. A half dozen of her girlfriends want to get together before one of them gets married next Spring.

"That sounds nice." Says I.

"I can't go." She says. "I spent all my mad money on the New York trip."

"Tell you what. I'll pay for the cruise, you deserve a break with your friends." I say, looking as sincere as I can.

"What, are you sure? That's wonderful! Thank you!" Hugs and kisses all around.

"No problem. Oh, by the way, I ordered a new computer part. Should be here in a couple of days."

"OK, I need to start making a list of what to take." Scuttles off to the bedroom.

Crisis averted. She can't say I didn't tell her. Mu-hahahahaha
