I Did Something Loony With My Colony

I'm certifiably mad.

After finishing a construction in my colony system, I went and did something beyond the pale:

I started trading in a T8 back and forth from my colony, instead of grinding out more construction.

I also took a couple of non-violent missions.

Oh, the shame!

Now, trade has started to appear on the galaxy map, and my system's population is up.

It's like my little system has a purpose.

Obviously, I am in need of professional help. :)

When you're on a mission to beef up your colony's station and you need Beer & Silver - there's only one place to go.

(unfortunately, there was no beer :( )

It took me about four hours to move 9,400 (bulk steel and titanium) tons for a project. Right now I have four open projects running. One is my badly placed Coriolis. It will take me about 65 runs in my T9 to complete.

It's easier to start with the smaller tonnage line items, before the big hauls. Space madness sets in during the long hauls.

Actually trading and playing in my little area makes life better between the big lifts.

Also, I have an outpost that grows 200+ tons of Onion head. Where's Rubbernuke when you need him? :)

I reveal one of my Sooper Secret Projects!

Not much in the way of surface sites, but the system has two water worlds, and two metal worlds, one terraformable.

I found it just stumbling around some of my local areas. No sniping involved. I colonized it from one of my colonies.

I'm building a science outpost over one of the water worlds. I like alternating my economies, so system pairs can trade with each other. With limited surface options, I'm happy to just see what can be done.
