I'm mega sorry, I am reading all these thoughts and noting things but forgive me if I can't reply to each query of "what about XXX issue" - just with how big and busy things are right now. Make sure you have Blur set to something other than Off in the quality settings.

You know you can log into the loader without starting the game or updating, it doesn't mean these people are playing, but are just logged in waiting in Steam for the download to begin.

I hadn't forgotten that, but I also hadn't forgotten that the transfer represent no change in overall player numbers, just a change in platform.
