Whist I understand that there are some advantages to flying with KB&M I have to say I prefer the level of 'being there' I get from a throttle, joystick, peddles and a Vive. I just don't need to touch the keyboard outside of the map. It's not a cheap set up of course, but it is rewarding.

Always knew there was a reason I hated the Van Dyke show. Because I detest being called a guy. I'm not one and don't want to be called what I'm not. I wonder how you males would feel being called gals.

I started out on Mouse and Keyboard. That lasted all of three days before I went HOTAS.
It feels so much better, almost like I'm at the controls.

The sheer number of buttons required to control all that needs controlled.. hands simply do not have enough room for the required number of fingers.

Mastering FA-OFF with mouse and keyboard is like training a dog to not eat the sausage in front of him. Possible, but requires extreme persistence.

Maybe using a less sensitive mouse (the opposite of a gaming mouse) will make it easier.

I've turned the sensitivity down a lot. Really helps. :)
